More than a classroom — a summer you'll remember

Two weeks living, studying and exploring alongside students from more than 125 nationalities.

Punting on the river at Cambridge A formal dinner in a college dining hall A city excursion during the programme Students on a group excursion

A real social programme

College traditions like punting and formal dinners at the UK campuses, plus sports, games and excursions everywhere — the moments that turn two weeks into a summer you don't forget.

Friends from everywhere

You're placed in a small mentor-family group among students from 125+ nationalities, and you leave with friendships that span the world.

Hands-on academics

Not just lectures — dissections in Medicine, a moot court in Law, building a robotic arm in Engineering — and a personal project to show for it.

What every place includes

World-class teaching, genuine university life, and care that lets parents relax.

*Accommodation varies by campus. On the Tokyo programme, students stay in selected local accommodation rather than a university residence.

Care that lets parents relax

Independent accreditation and round-the-clock support on every campus.

Accredited & inspected

Programmes are accredited by the British Accreditation Council and delivered by an AEGIS member — independently inspected for welfare, safety and teaching.

Trained, checked staff

All staff pass enhanced background checks (Enhanced DBS for UK staff) and complete safeguarding training. A dedicated, safeguarding-trained College Manager at the Oxford, Cambridge, London and Sydney campuses — with a senior on-site manager elsewhere — is your child's point of contact.

Supervised 24/7

Resident mentor families of around ten students, plus college staff, supervise around the clock, and students move around in small groups.

From enquiry to arrival, handled for you

The programme is world-class. Our job is to make choosing and joining it effortless.

Questions parents ask us

What's included in the fee?

Residential places include a room in a university college or campus residence, breakfast and dinner daily (lunch too for ages 13–15), small-group teaching, a weekly one-to-one tutorial, the excursion and social programme, a personal project, a certificate and a written tutor evaluation.

Are flights or airport transfers included?

Travel to and from the programme isn't included. Shared or private airport transfers can be arranged once flights are booked — just ask and we'll set it up.

Is insurance included?

Comprehensive programme insurance is an optional add-on (£95) covering travel, medical treatment and tuition fees. We'll walk you through it.

Can dietary needs be catered for?

Yes — vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, gluten-free and allergy requirements are all catered, collected on a form after enrolment.

How is my child supervised?

Students stay in single college rooms, with male and female accommodation separated, supervised 24/7 by resident mentor families and college staff, with a dedicated College Manager at the UK and Sydney campuses and a senior on-site manager elsewhere.

What's the cancellation policy?

A 14-day cooling-off period applies from enrolment. After that, cancellation and postponement terms — including a non-refundable deposit — are set by Immerse Education and can't be varied by us. See Immerse Education's full Terms & Conditions (the US and TED terms are on the same page).

Why book through Berndt Education rather than direct?

You get a single, familiar point of contact who helps you choose the right programme, manages the enrolment and supports your family throughout — at no extra cost. And when the time comes, we guide the same students all the way to university admissions.

Ready to find the right summer programme?

Book a relaxed call or send us a note — we'll talk through the options for your child and answer any questions.

Places fill early, and 2027 sessions are already opening — the sooner you enquire, the more choice you have.
